Another great tune Greg and the mix is fine by me. Your lyrics are pretty slick too...

Another high-energy dry, in-your-face mix. Appropriate for this style. Nice job!

Despite your odd affinity for German war machinery, I am sure you're a really nice guy.

War machinery.:D

I might pickup a name for a band there!
(haven't named my rockmetalband yet, drummer wasn't keen on the name "F*ckin Hell":D)

It did have a slight h8-band feel in it, didn't bother me though.
Yes, very nice sounds!!
Rules.

Thanks heatmiser and Jouni. I assure you that there's no hate behind this song. I chose "Panzer" because the tanks are sort of legendary, and it's a cool word. Also, Germany's Panzer Units back in the day were powerful fighting forces. They were basically self-sufficient. They had the tanks obviously, but they also had ground forces and air support. They didn't have to wait for help. They had it all right there. Each Panzer unit was like it's own little army. The US/Allies used mostly Sherman and Patton tanks. "I'm a Sherman Man" just doesn't sound quite as cool. :p

Anyway, my basic idea behind the lyrics is that I'm a "Panzer Man" in the sense that I'm an unstoppable force. Like my cheesy lyrics say - I'm oppressive. I'm aggressive. Fucking Impressive. I'm like a destruction machine. I'm an asshole. You're scared of me, but you want me anyway. It's that sort of thing. It really has nothing to do with Nazis or hate or anything like that. It really has nothing to do with anything. I just made some shit up. :D

Yeah, Panzer is a cool word. I was just trying to be funny...(I should have added an emoticon - a smiley face with a Hitler mustache would've worked) now if you had named it, "I'm a Gestapo man" or "I'm an S.S. man", maybe that would be different...doesn't have the same ring to it anyway.

I used to build plastic models of Panzers as a kid. I think the Tiger tank was perhaps the most feared, but there weren't nearly so many of those in battle. Shermans were lightly armored but maybe a little faster. Definitely not as tough seeming. Unquestionably, you chose the right tank.

Yeah I was a little concerned that some people might take this the wrong way. But then again, punk is controversial, so fuck them. :p

I used to build models a lot too, although I was a plane/battleship/car kind of kid. Mostly planes and cars. I used to build tons of planes and hang them from my ceiling with fishing line like they were dogfighting.

It's weird how changing one letter can make or break a word. "Panzer"=cool. "Panzee"=not.

Yeah I played this for the guys in my band, and they were like "Pansy Man"?

So I killed them.
