im just wondering but how much would i pan the guitar to make it sound good? all the way or half or what?

try panning guitar 90 percent or 75..just try and experiment with the sound your looking for

It largely depends on what your trying to acheive..
Melt brains/faces with a blazin' solo?
Crush skulls with a wall of sound rock attack?
Different techniques for different results.
But the engineer's best friend is experimentation.
Just make sure there's not a drummer present when experimenting!
