I have once again another question, that i would like to get all you guys advise on. I wanna know how you guys pan your tracks. For me, what I do is double track my guitar. Pan one all the way left, and the other all the way right. Vocals and drums i leave in the center, and i don't have a bass to track period lol, but i will get myself a bass here soon, so I need some advice on panning. vocals? guitars? 2 double tracked guitars? bass? drums? I do want to point out that I use ez drummer for my drum tracks as well, just to let you all know, if I may have to pan in there or if they are already panned correctly.

I usually have main Vox center. And guitars left and right like you said. You'll definitely want to pan your drum tracks. I usually have the kick and snare in the center. Hi's to the right and Ride to the left. And toms panned to a listeners perspective. You could reverse what i said and have the drums panned from a drummers perspective.

There's no set answer for this question. It's what sounds right for THE SONG.

It's not even so much what sounds right for the song because that may differ according to who is mixing the song. It really is about how you happen to hear it and want it. The rest of the world will get into your song the way you've panned it.
That said, mixing is an evolved art and various moves have been tried down the decades. Some things in probably most cases tend to sound better/more balanced a certain way which is why they've become standard advice.
But try everything. Mono panned drums can sound great as can stereo drums up the middle. My hard panned bass never sounded right to me so I never do it. But on numerous 60s records it sounds OK. Hard panned vocals with harmonies can sound by equal turns superb or _+*&$%£ awful.
Your ear is king.

EZ drummer default panning is based on the drummer's perspective, so I usually like to flip everything left to right, make it from the listener's perspective. The overheads and room are set to 100% wide, I like to narrowed it to around 75%, cuz I dont want drums wider than my guitar's track.
