Hi havent been here for awhile so I hope you dont mind me asking this question.I purchased band in a box about 6 months ago and found it great for songwriting. After writing a song in which I panned the same guitars left/right I noticed that at certain bars in the track they seemed to move to the centre and then back L/R.I muted the rest of the track and listened to each guitar individually and they stayed panned over to their sides. However when I then listened to just the 2 guitars without the other instruments they did the same thing at certain bars coming to the centre. This has flumoxed me and would like any help if possible. Thanks Frank

I might be mis-understanding you. But, are you saying you copied and pasted the same guitar track and then panned it? If so, then I'm surprised they're not just mono all the time, which is what happens when you copy and paste the same track, no matter how wide you pan them.

Hi Rami,Sorry if I wasnt putting my question plain enough.I dont know if you know the software Band In A Box but you dont cut and paste stuff. How they actually do it Im not sure myself but you can type in chords and select real instruments and drums (not midi) and write a song.On the bar above the chord sheet are the instruments you can select and for 2 of the inputs I used 2 real guitarists who play to the chords Ive laid down.I selected one for one channel and the other for another channel and used the panning button on each channel panned left and the other right. For most of the song it gives the stereo effect I wanted but at certain bars they meet in the centre.I can mute the rest of the tracks and just listen to the 2 guitars that Ive panned. And still at certain bars the same thing happens they come to the centre then return left and right. Thanks Frank

No idea what the problem is but damn you for making me look up "flumoxed". :D

Just wanted to let folks here know that I got the answer on the BIAB forum. By just altering the timing slightly on one of the guitars did the trick.Anyway thanks to those who tried to help.Cheers Frankie
