Hi all,
My DAW is Cubase LE4. I'm still very new to it. So I have a Tascam US-144 usb2.0 interface. I mic my guitar amp with 2 mics (sm57, at3000l). I wanted to be able to record 2 tracks simultaniously. For a while I couldn't figure out how to do it in Cubase (it would always record stereo). So finally I was able to change my input and output settings via vst connections and I was able to record a seperate track for each mic. Now that I'm done the raw tracking I wanna go into the mixing phase. The problem is I'm not able to pan my mono tracks. The drum track was a previous recorded track that I exported to a wav then imported that wav to my current project. Now when I select that track I'm able to pan it (this track is in stereo). It's very weird and frustrating, and I'm hoping it's just a newbie mistake so here are a couple of screenshots that I took, hopefully they help. If you need more pictures or information let me know. Thanks
EDIT: (If you look at the very first picture on the left side where you change the panning it says "no panner")
