Pandora submissions anyone?

Since they are offering it no-charge, no actual discs needed, I gave it a go. They ask for links to 2 songs, and a link to where your CD is for sale.
Do they listen to anything but those songs? Doubt it. Who listens, and is it based on the genre you choose (I hate narrowing my genre to one 'standard' choice like 'rock')?
So after a month+ they said 'thanks but no thanks' to my first submission. I started another one with 2 songs from my first CD this time. When that gets rejected, I'll try a different 2 songs from my 2nd CD.

Anyone else trying Pandora this way?

I've been meaning to but haven't gotten to it yet.

Meanwhile one of my bands where someone else does the legwork, got in right before they stopped requiring physical CDs.

I'm sure the volume of submissions went up 100X or 1000X since then!
