bollocks redux!
Ever look at those Tube MP Studios that Musicians Friend sells for $29.99 and think-- yeah, it's a pretty cool deal I guess, but they screw you on shipping ($6 for one; $8 for two)?
I did, but I had a coupon for having bought some stuff from those bastards and needed to use it before it expired...
So I have these two brand new Tube MP Studios sitting around that will probably never get used. It's funny because for a couple of years, only a few years ago, I had an ART Tube MP that I paid $100 for (it doesn't even have the peak limiting or the VU meter that these do) and it was my best (i.e. only) preamp and now I can't see myself using these (I do mostly mono or stereo tracking). These aren't Neves, but they don't suck. Totally worth the money. Besides being a nice starter preamp, or extra channel, these also make good bass di's and some people use them as boosters in their guitar rigs. I got these a couple weeks ago, so I will end up returning them if no one bites on these.
Totally new-- never used, shipped to you (in the continental US) for $58 ($10 less than you would pay at MF) and I will even throw in a brand new, never used, no name XLR cable that I got free with an M-Audio Nova that I ordered a while back from the same company. I won't split them up, because shipping would make it a true "stupid deal of the day" on my end and I would be better returning them or seeing if someone will trade me a couple of McDonalds value meals for them.
