PAiA Pre-amp

I have a chance to pick up a PAiA rackmounted pre amp from a bass player that I know. It was hand built by a guy who does Amp mods and repairs here in my town, so I am not worried about the quality of the assembly. Anyone ever heard how one of these sound? This guy used it for a D.I, and that's what I would want it for.

They sound very good. Buy it - if he's asking a reasonable price.

It sure seems reasonable. He is selling this and some other gear that he rarely uses anymore. He is only asking $125 for this PAiA pre-amp. I think I will get it just for the heck of it.
