PA9 to Sonar 1.31 sync problem

I started a project in PA9. Later I upgraded my computer and installed Sonar 1.31. In transferring the files from PA9, the audio got lost and I had to find them "hit and miss." Once together, they are a little out of sync. Any advice? Thanks!

I'm using AMD 1700XP, Ansus A7S333 MB, 512DDR, 60G 7200 HD and a 20G hd. I'm using Win XP. My sound card is a Delta 66 (omni).
 
I fixed this very sync problem once before by putting the computer into StandardPC, the processor to "background services" and the memory usage to "System cache" . But the machine had a freezing problem and I had to replace the MB (and I got a faster HD at that time) The new Asus A7S333 only works in APIC mode. Otherwise the machine is forced into PIO mode. So the fix I mentioned above is not available with this MB. Incidentally, the midi and audio look fine on the grids but it doesn't play fine. I thought this further information may prompt a solution other than a manual reset...but we will do that if that's all that's left. Thanks again.......
