Overture users? (or really smart computer types)

I have wind 98se on my computer. As soon as my soundcard manufacture finishes the win 2000 WDM drivers, I'll upgrade so Sonar works better. I have heard (from cakewalk support) Cakewalk is not going to make Overture2 win 2000 compatible.

1) Will Overture still function in 2000?

2) Is/are their any workarounds for this?
