Overhauling Soundcraft Delta Mixer

I have a Soundcraft Delta 24 Channel mixer that I've used for years.
After considering buying a new mixer, I've decided to hang on to my Soundcraft Delta because it has such a great warm sound to it.
But because it's got so much mileage on it over the years, this mixer is in bad need of overhauling.
Specifically, the 1/4 inch outputs on the back panel on many of the channels have become very faulty. I'll hook up a 1/4 inch cable from my keyboard into one of these 'bad' channels, and I end up having to wiggle the 1/4 plug around the input to get it to connect to where I have audio in that channel.
I'm thinking I need to go in to each channel module and do a clean sweep of replacing the wiring with new wire, etc.
Anyone out there had any experience doing this?

I "overhauled" my S/craft Spirit Studio 24/8 a while back..............basically I stripped everything out then used a couple of Caig products (DeOxit, etc) to spray into every switch and pot as well as swabbing inside all sockets with cottonbuds soaked in Caig. It hasn't solved every niggly little problem, but I do believe it was worth the effort. I also modded the channel outputs so I can switch between -10 and +4 to suit both my digital and analogue recorders.

It may be worth your while to consider replacing any jacks that are beyond cleaning, etc.

I replaced some connectors that were bad in my Spirit Live board. I ordered them from the factory. I also did some clean up on a noisy fader which had rusted.

The board is working fine now.
