Anyone here overclock their machines?

The Asus & Abit boards in particular have built o'clocking features into their BIOSs.

I believe stability rather than out and out performance is more important for audio applications. I'm just wondering if anyone is recording reliably through an o'clocked board

i have a xp2500+ machine with a abit nf7D MB...
its overclocked to xp3000 or 3200 right now.. its running fine and its not hot at all.
it helps when you have to use native plugins or track 24/96

its really not neccesary if you have a fast PC
and it shortens the life term of the CPU
