over 2,000 of my songs on soundclick

Hi All: I realized tonight I passed the 2,000 song mark with songs I have uploaded to soundclick. I guess everything is relative because it feels like about 20 songs to me. Here are 2 from tonights session.

Do you ever go check to see if you may have wrote the same song twice somehow? I would be scared to have that many songs because in the back of my head I would be worried it was just the same song over and over again LOL

FoulPhil: thanks! I don't write songs. I spontaneously sing them as I play. It is all done spontaneously. Sure themes overlap, but each song is unique because it is a one time, in that moment, creation. When I play/record I walk into the songs. Each is unique. I travel through time and space and become these songs. It is a high like no other I have found doing music the traditional way. To close my eyes and go to these places, lives, souls, and then open them when the song ends and be sitting in my studio is quite a trip - much better than drugs and drink too! Walter

thanks mixmkr! I have 2 dogs and they like to accompany me often. They are on lots of the songs. It is a tight fit in my 12'x12' studio with a 90 pound collie ( I work with collie rescue) and a 60 pound mutt. they love to lay at my feet as I play. Walter
