Delta 44 problem
If I set my output device as #3/4 in my CEP, windows media player automatically plays out of #1/2. And visa versa, Why does it chosse the other, I don't want to have to route two different sets of cables. How can I set this to be on the same output. Even if I choose both to use the #1/2 outputs, my CEP takes predident and if I try to play music later from WMP, it comes out of 3/4, regardless of the setting.

I suspect you have the Delta monitor mixer feeding output 1/2.

Check the Delta Control Panel patchbay router is set - out1/2 to H/W out1/2.
Also out3/4 to H/W out3/4.

In Windows Control Panel Sounds, you need to ensure playback is Delta 44 1/2 (assuming you want Windows sounds out on the 1/2).

In Windows Media Player 9 options, you can choose the output. You want the DirectSound 1/2 (again assuming you want the same output as Windows Sounds). Earlier versions of the player use the output set in Windows Sounds.

If you see a Delta driver channel option with "multi" or "multichannel" in the name, I recommend you don't use them for anything, and have them deselected in CEP mutitrack device order.

ok, I think I got it, I jsut fooled around a little more, till I got it working, don't know exactly what I did, but it's started working, so I shut up quick. Thanks again.
