Output Only Soundcard

I have an interest in a sound card to be used ONLY for listening (mixing.) I am not talking about mastering, just doing mixes.

Is there anything between my onboard crap and a $1000 multi in and out card that would be suitable to use just for mixing purposes?

I did a search but almost everything I come up with relates to Quality of sound going IN. I do not need any ins.

If all you need is clean accurate output for listening, $150 for an maudio Audiophile 24/96 should fit your bill.
