i just wondering what would be better or what is better, running your outboards ( comps eqs reverbs) into your system thru pre amps or just lines in?
for example , i have the 002 and i want to use the lightpipe out for more channels, i get a personus digimax which has 8 channels all with pre amps or would it be better to get an alesis AI3 which is an 8 channel ad da converter ( no pre amps )which uses light pipe, which of these 2 options would be the best for running outboards (comps reverbs ) into the system with?
