So, um, would you guys think I was weird if I told you I was going to sleep with this thing tonight?

The velveteen pouch is soooooooo soft!

Put something over the diaphram. they don't like moisture.

i sleep with my guitar all the time, but it's laminate, not solidwood, so it can take a little moisture.
 
that KSM44 is kinda thick...you may wanna start with a sm57 and work your way up to it.........

Well, I didn't have to cover it with anything (you dirty boys, get your minds out of the gutter!)

If I was gonna do anything sexual with this mic, I would be the one gratifying it - not the other way around!


Truth be told - while I didn't sleep with it in my bed, it was bedside and I found myself turning on the light several times just to pull it out and admire it. I would then return the room to darkness and try to sleep - but the urge kept striking me to look at it again. Finally nodded off in the wee hours.

This thing just sounds so nice, feels so nice and looks so nice.

It's hurting my current project - I am supposed to be working on something (that doesn't require miking right now) and I keep blowing it off to play with this mic.

Oh, the humanity!!

I'm not EVEN going to start on this one...:D

But if you gotta start somewhere, dontcha think something like an ECM8000 might be better? I can't think of any smaller ones off the top of my head...
