Other Sounds

I just recently converted my entire studio setup from being PC based (Cubase) to the Apple/Logic platform. It's been a bit of a learning curve, but so far, the level of features and tools in Logic is beyond impressive.

I'm running into something that I've been having some trouble with in finding straight info for from the manual. I have a number of sounds and plugins that I wanted to use in the Library to play off my MIDI keyboard, but for some reason, I have no clue how to add them to the sound bank. I have all the .exs, .aif, and .wav saved to a folder on my desktop, but doing the 'Add Files' doesn't seem to work - instead of being able to play the sounds on my keyboard, I just seem to load individual sound files and not the entire instrument. For now, I'm limited to just the preset sound bank that came with Logic. How do I load up these other instruments?

Sorry Ashura,
I'm a new Logic user too, and haven't got to the point where I'm using anything other than the Logic based sounds.
