Hello, I'm new here so forgive me if I've not posted this question in the proper forum.
Since becoming an analog fanatic (lp and R2R) Ive picked a few R2R deck along the wayin the last year. My most resent find is a relatively clean Otari MTR-10ll-CT, it was DOA upon purchase but was able to get the +5VDC going in the PS again and all is well, more or less. What I'm looking for is some guidance from some of the veterans here on the following areas/parts:

1. The unit is missing the capstan pinch roller-where can I find one? Can I use one from a 5050?

2. It's also missing the record button plastic cap and bulb, resources?

3.It's also missing the 4 wheels/casters for the base, ideas?

4.Wanted to touch up the paint on both the side panels and the deck face itself. I'm looking to see if anybody has a color match with today's current paints?

5. General question, the deck I have only goes up to 15ips, not the 30ips any ideas why? I don't think this is the L version of this deck as the SN and Mod# do not reflect that. I do have the UG and MM but not clear why it wont go 30ips? I'm happy with 15ips BTW so maybe its a mute point.

6. Finally, wanted to hear from the community some recommendations on who to call to do a full alignment and set-up for RMG SM900 in Southern Cal.

7. Any current users with tips and tricks that they might be willing to share.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you folks!

Try Terry's Rubber Pinch Rollers & Wheels for the rollers. Otari might still sell them as well. Junkbay has been selling the transport controls in the last few weeks so you might get lucky their. As far as the casters go, do they screw in the bottom? If they do then you might be able to get casters that will work from The Home depot. Do you have a manual for this deck? That would be a good investment. When you get it up and running I'm sure you will love it. I bought mine for a steal last year and have had some good results so far. The most I've done with mine was to replace the VU meter bulbs. Good luck.
