Someone is giving away their Otari Concept Elite Console in LA and I'm thinking of picking it up.
I live in Santa Barbara, but I could drive down with friends and move the console into my grandma's garage (in Van Nuys, ~10 miles away from where the console is located now).
I have a minivan, but I'm not sure if this console would fit in the back of it. I imagine that I'd need to make two trips: one for the board, another for the stand.
I'd like this machine, as its WAY nicer than any mixer I've got now - I could really get a nice studio going with it. But I want to make sure that it's right for me - lots of folks mention using this board for post production work, but I would be recording through it. Any thoughts?
