I don't mean to get into religion here...but for most this is a misconception. Satanism (or modern satanism) is not the same thing as devilworshipping. Do the research.

Depends on the Satanist in question. Anton Lavey Satanism, your absolutely right. Its not the same. But that particular religion/philosophy/trainwreck is not representative of all people who consider themselves satanist. And since he didnt invent the word, he doesnt get exclusive right to it, nor do his followers. Lavey himself is to blame for the confusion, because he adopted the name, and appearance as kind of a statement/sick joke/ego trip, and he alone is responsable for the confusion...As I am sure he deliberately caused it.

And you do the research. I have plenty of friends who were and/or are followers of the man, who explained it all in far more detail than I had the desire to hear. I have also had the misfortune to know "other" types of satanists, who, well, lets just say that they were less pleasant and leave it at that.
 
First you have to decide what it is to be satanic.

Jesus basicly said your with me or your not. If your not with Jesus all the time, then some might call you satanic.

I think it's safe to say that Ozzy isn't an avid church goer. Therefore, (in the eyes of some) he could be concidered satanic, but so would I.

Interesting Take..

I know your not saying it firebird, but whomever bases people's religious or non religious being on this critieria is fucked and evil himself... I wonder if it is the people who think like this, (the above quote), that will go to hell.

Little bit of opinion from a non-churchgoing, moral human.
 
well qiute simply the people that use those criterias (either you with jesus or you're satanic) are the people that belive in jesus... so it's kinda ironic voxvendor thinks they shouyld go to hell (althouygh i get your idea...) since they are the the once strongly believin' they''' go to heaven...

but since we will all be worm food someday i don't care...;)

Wondering if something will happen and thinking it will happen are 2 very different things. I was just wondering.

But I still think it's evil to think we are satanists because we don't church. That is a silly inaccurate theory.

I don't believe in god, nor do I believe in any higher being. INCLUDING satan.
