OS to new board

how can I xfer my OS from one system to another...


...I've got a system that was sent to me with the OS installed already, but my new board doesn't have one, how can I get the OS from my old clunker to my new machine?
 
If it is anything but Windows 2000, then you might be able to do it by simply switching the hard drives and then dealing with all of the configuration changes. Just be forewarned that you'll have more problems than usual with that system as long as it has that old Windows installation.
 
man it's windows '95...I could fenagle a 2000, but apparently that's no good...


...what about XP?
 
95 should be able to switch right over with minimal problems.

XP would be better off installed on the system it was staying in. Activation and all of that crap...
