uh..I just plugged my organ into my guitar amp and I hurt it..god I'm a newb. Should I never do this again? or is it actually ok?

What kind of organ is it?

The thing about organs is that they produce a very wide amount of frequencies which can be harmful to certain speakers.

The BEST solution for use with an organ would be a Leslie cabinet.
The new Hammond company makes different types. Older/original Leslie cabinets use special connectors that your organ may not support.
A company called Motion Sound also make their own version of the Leslies, as well as other keyboard amps.

I would say that a Bass or Keyboard amp would be best suited for organ if you are unable to get a Leslie or Motion Sound amp.

I don't think i hurt anything, the organ is a hammond 123xl. my amp makes a few pops now and then when i play some of the lower notes but its soo much fun to have distortion and wah on the organ i dont even care if i hurt the amp. my amp is lame crate combo amp. the stuff i can make with it reminds me of the flaming lips, its just fun to reproduce these sounds without anything digital. maybe i'll record a track for you guys and show you want i'm talking about.
