optical S/PDIF sound card

I currently am running a Sound Blaster 16 PCI on my computer. I got some new studio monitors and have since notice a severe lack of audio quality when I mixdown from my digital recorder into the computer.

I am looking for a better sound card, preferably one with optical S/PDIF inputs, to elliminate line noise and impedence problems.

I was checking out the terratec 24/96 6fire with the drive bay connectors.

any suggetsions?
