(1st Verse)
I met a girl
My temperature rise
I looked in her eyes
-
Many words
I planned to say
They fade away
-
(Pre chorus)
Love and affection
Hurts my emotion
So much attraction

(Chorus)
Its a fact That I can't flex
when I'm next
To the opposite sex
I can't Control my thoughts
I can't keep my calm
I get confuse
what to do
when I'm next
To the opposite sex
-
(2nd Verse)
-
So beautiful
Going to and fro
And I said hello
-
follow her
Where shall it go
How can I know
-
(Pre chorus)
Love and affection
Hurts my emotion
So much attraction
-
(Repeat Chorus)
-
(Bridge)
Due to the opposite sex
Boy meet girl causes attraction
But they don't have a clue of
how we feel Built up with tension
Is it lust? is it love?
Then why I want them so much
But when all is said and done
There ain't another
-
I want to fall in love
With the opposite sex
The opposite sex
With the opposite sex
-
(out)
I want to fall in love
With the opposite sex
The opposite sex
With the opposite sex
-
I want to fall in love
With the opposite sex
With the opposite sex
With the opposite sex

LOL

This funny thought struck me halfway through - Are you homophobic? ROFLMAO

But most truly, aside from some grammar problems, I liked it more than a little.

I think it's almost a physche probe and could be a good starting point for some Shrink's research.

Again, all humor aside... I like it. Fix the grammar problems, and give us some good Rhodes piano with some razor cutting guitar. I'm waiting to hear it!

Cool song. Just don't let the Libs hear it, they'll go nuts.

spawned

New thought for a song title:

I never kissed a guy,
And I like it.

Oh, and uh, as if it actually needed to be said, It's gotta be sung by a man.

I love this lyric. It's from the heart.

The "grammar problems" mentioned are non-existent to my mind, and it works exactly as it is written. It's a song lyric, not an exercise in English Grammar! :)

As for "the libs" thinking the song may be homophobic. Well, they'd be very wrong I suspect, as they so often are. Sorry to all the homosexuals reading these threads, but some men actually do prefer girls! So live with it! :)

Great lyric, Irwin and one of the best I've seen for awhile.

It reminds me a lot of the spirit behind the lyric to "Chan Chan" by The Buena Vista Social Club. And that my friend, is one helluva compliment I'm paying you!

Frankie xxx :)

Why be sorry??? Things are shoved in our faces like that every day. It's time to stand up! We are loosing this country little by little every day and nothing is said about it. To political? To bad!

I'm glad to say that nothing is being pushed in my face by gay men! :D

Btw sorry is just a turn of phrase. I'm English, and from a generation that was brought up to say, "sorry".

I personally think many so called "minority groups" are getting "too big for their boots" these days, but then again, who isn't?! Everybody thinks they're a star now!

Of course, people are mostly still just peasants as far as I can see, to paraphrase John Lennon.. ..and ending nicely on a musical note!

Happy song-writing, one and all!

Fx :)

I don't know how it sounds when sung, but I find the X of sex hard to work with, I'd like to hear it when done.
