mr soundman,

with a handle like that, I expected better sound, but it was o.k. It dragged a bit, would have liked a solo, or a vocal change, or a keyboard change or something, anything. Maybe if it sounded better, it wouldnt have dragged so much because I could have still enjoyed the sound. Decent mood though. Sounds like music for "Beverly Hills Cop" or something like that. 80's drum sounds.

"my games" same thing with the sound but the song is a bit more interesting.

I listened to both tunes. It's hard for me to comment on the style of tunes, there not my cup of meat. But first of all, what did you record to, possibly a cassette multitrack? LOTs of hiss. Also it was just kind of thin, no BUTT to it.
 
I'm definately no expert on mixing/mastering so all i can say is ouch to "my games" however the humorous content of the vocals
makes the buzzification worth it. (assuming it was meant to be funny). As far as SHE WANTS YOU goes, I totaly dug the level of funk involved and wont say anything about the repetitiveness considering the type of jams i create.
 
my comments would repeat all the above statements....Bev. Hills cops..., hiss...etc. repetitiveness...

the 2nd tune approaches the need for an abortion...just horrid...sorry:(
 
Those were definately not good. Make the bad go away. But really, since the first one was one big Sample, you are not saddened by this right? Do you play an instument? The second one made me giggle though. Thank you for the post.

Seriously though... to me, "My Games" might actually be an allright tune, but it does sound like the MP3 conversion gotted messed up....

I hear sound similar to that sometimes when streaming audio in RealPlayer fails or gets bogged down....

mr_soundman - maybe re-cut that MP3 and I'll check it out again!

If I'm wrong and that sound is actually intentional, then you have my sympathies!

(my games) was a country song my old band did i took it into sound forge and went for the funny :). it don't sound country no more. (She wants you) i did on a psr yamaha keyboard then ran thru the mixer added all kinds of effects recorded then added vocals. and as my name states i'm mr_soundman not mr_ guitar or mr_ drums or mr _keyboard or mr_bass, i was just goofing off with the equipment my first try you know so thanks for the listen p.s. the point is if you don't try you wont get any where & you don't have to be anybody on nowhere.

She Wants You was very upbeat and enjoyable. Overall the sound is smooth but does fade in and out about midway through the song. And repetative.

My games was interesting. The sound was very distorted. Bring down those effects a little.

Nice tunes. Keep working.
