opinions on selection sought.

OK guys, I pulled the plug, and ordered a couple fo mics and a mic pre. I am seeking opinions.

I am a trumpet player/keyboard player, and I am building a project studio. I want to be able to record brass and sax, vocals, and guitars primarily.

What I currently have:
- Grace 101
- AKG C535EB


What I opted for was a
- A Designs MP-2 pre.
- AEA R84 Ribbon Microphone (brass)
- Studio Projects T3 Tube Multipattern Microphone (everything else).

These will all run through a Lucid 2408 AD/DA and a pair of RNCs.

Comments? Opinions?

Excellent choices! You have everything you need for a smooth, sexy sound.

Don't be afraid to play around with the pattern choices on the T3.
