Looking for opinions on what monitors give the best, truest sound. Please Advise.

"best, truest" - well, if you're serious about superlative monitors, then get expensive ones. I for one would be satisfied with expensive monitors if I could afford them.

Genelec seems to be the "monitor of choice" these days.
If you've got $1,800.00 to toss around, that would be the way to go.
