Funny you should ask, i just help someone hook his up yesterday, but that's all I did was hook it up for him, I really can't even guess at how it sounds because of the rest of his system,
pro's:
Cheapest fully automated mixer around with "ALPS motorized faders"
Different interface options (ADAT, TDIF, AES/EBU)
Surround mixing
32 channels
12 XLR inputs with phantom pwr (I think)
Seams easy to get around in
Cons:
Reliability (my friend had to send send his back and get a replacement before he even had anything but the power cord hooked up)
To fully use it you need to buy one of the above interface options (otherwise you only have "4 multi-outs")
Manual could be better
That's all I "KNOW" I not going to comment further on something I really haven't used (read: not going to bag on it just because it's behringer, I wonder if it didn't have that name...), but the reliability issue would worry me, he did get the extended warranty, but even with that, if it breaks down your with out a mixer while it's getting repaired. I'm not sure how your going to be using it, but if you going to be using it with computer based recording (multitrack), I'm going to be upgrading soon and thought it would be (look) cool with flying faders and all, but will go with an interface box, thinking about two Roland/Edirol AU-1000 myself (I to wait for a few reviews first)
Good luck!
