Opinions of Audix f50?

A local pawn shop has several f50's with a sticker price of $50 each, and will probably go down from there. Looks like the f50 is marketed as competition for the SM58.

Is it a good mic? What do you like or dislike about it? Does it have a significant proximity effect like an SM57?
