opinions needed on this new song I did with a friend.

Pretty solid...I like the lyrics. It's a damn shame no one cares what comes out of their mouth these days...

The keyboard? I have no clue.. My friend gave me the beat (he got it from someone else) and I just added the chorus line to it. The song is really not finished. He need to add one more verse and it'll be done sometime around sat afternoon... :)

Lyrics are tight............

I have a history of finding something that does not sit well with me!


So with that being said.............

My only complaint would be that the last word in the bars end too abrupt. I would add a lil echo to it and maybe some adlib......It cuts off like you're trying to nail it in one take. Utilize the tracks and chop the verses in half if you need to so it would flow better...........When it sounds to perfect, it sounds like you're reading it. It would be obvious that you are recording multiple takes, but it would sound so much better. (For purposes of breathing, timing, and transition)

Overall I love the track Dude!

One of the better one's I heard in awhile.....Mainly for the lyrics!

Turn the main vox down on the hook a tad bit!

I'll take those suggestions into considerations and yes you're also right about the hook being lil too loud...that will be fixed as well on the final mix :)

Im gonna be honest with you, the chorus is a touch louder than the rapper, lower it just a tad and it's a sure banger in my opinion. Nice one for sure!

Thanks. I'm always up for collobs but at the moment i'm all full with other projects but ya i'm day i'm sure we'll do something together...you're a producer?

btw, I don't usually sing that high. I tried bringing the key down to a lower key so I can sing with my regular voice (rather than falsetto), but when I tried changing the keys, it took away the bass and all the other quality from the beat. So we decided to just keep the song in a high pitch one ;p
