I would emphasize the 1st and 3rd beat of the shaker in the intro, to set the scene that comes later with the snare rim taps. Idk if that’s just a personal thing

You couldn't have picked a better song for this. This one's on my favorites list. The mix sounds good here. Good vibe.
 
Listening on an iPad, so I won’t comment much. It sounds good, and I find that often it’s harder to make stuff sound good on cheap speakers than it is on good systems. So nice job. I’ll re-listen again on my studio system later. Nice guitar work btw.

Update: Listened on a better system. Still sounds good. Singer has a nice voice, although a bit "wedding band-ish." Guitar is still the outstanding part of this track. No nits on the recording itself.
