Hi,

Well we've gone through recording, partially. Drums, bass, guitars are there and we're wondering how good it came through. If anybody could give it a listen and share their opinion if this level of quality would be enough to push through mixing, it would be appreciated.

One song:

We've mixed it a bit with EQ and compression, but we're highly unskilled at it. Just wanted to have it shaped up at least to some extent.

We're recording in trumpets today, then synth and vocals.

If we give it to somebody skilled with mixing, can such recording sound good? In terms of bass, guitars and drums at this point.

Also, thought we might give it a try at finding good mixing guy over internet. We got some people in the town that could do it but they're either of questionable skill, or too expensive. If somebody could be interested in doing it, please do PM me or post here.

Thank you,

And I got some hi fi speakers here that are far from quality monitors so some may hear it badly. I believe bass and kick could be strange.

When you mix down after adding the horns and vocals, do something to make the volume level higher on the MP3. They are way low now.

Yes I noted that. Yeah that's the least of the problem. What about the overall quality of the sound?

Thanks,
