Opinion needed

Could I get some comments on these tracks. Drums, bass and a rhythm guitar is all that's there but I would like some feedback. Especially for the drums. I have learned alot from you guys over the last few months. I think I am getting a little better. At least I "LISTEN" now to what I'm mixing. My room still needs work but I'm learning it's quirks, I think.

sounds pretty damn good to me. nice guitar playing.
only complaint are the bass drum and snare.
bass drum sounds a little boxy and the snare sounds a little mushy. the cymbals sounded good though.
 
Snare may sound like crap because I was playing drums and I don't hit it right. I'm a guitar player. Either that or it just sounds crappy and needs retuned.
 
Thats a damn good recording dude.The kick drum is a little boxy like erichenryus mentioned but it can be fixed with EQ.I usually roll all the mids off on the kick drum and go for a nice thud with a little bit of a click.The snare sounds pretty good too,it just needs a little bit of highs added to give it some pop.......not a lot of highs,just a smidge to make it cut through the mix........it already has some beef to it.Really good guitar tracks......You are on the right track.......This is a good recording.

The recording sounds real good!
Drums sound fine on my pc speakers.

I like the guitar work!

I am debating on putting vocals on it. I'm not very good at writing lyrics though. I guess I have to start somewhere though.
 
I was just getting ready to say, ya need to get some voc's to it. Good playin', I like the beat.
 
Man, this rocks, the guitar sounds 100% perfect to my ears, I would attempt to do it the same way.

I'd love to get my hands on this tune.
 
Just echoing what everyone else is saying. Kind of a weird sound on the kick and snare.

But everything else absolutely smokes!!!

Hey H.D....mind if I throw down a vocal track if I promise not to write about flowers or lost puppies?
