Oh boy did I take two huge steps backward last night. I was trying to disable the onboard soundcard on my computer to allow the Delta 44 to be the only operating card. I disabled the SIS7012 from System Settings, but when I went to reboot, the computer wouldn't shut down, and gave me an ominous Rundll32 error.
Now when I try to open system settings, or audio settings, the hard drive creeps along for what must be 10 minutes before opening the window.
Damn, I've made things worse. Luckily I can take the box into the store and they'll fix it for me (special service contract)...but any clue what I did?
Happy to provide more info/specifics if required.
