I recently installed a new audio driver. But after connecting speakers to the output jack, i discovered that only the left speaker was working. I tried the speakers on another computer and they worked fine. I tried other speakers on the computer but they had the same problem. I even tried switching the audio driver back to the old one, but this also had the same problem. I would appear that the problem is not with the speakers or the driver. What can I do???

Is this an audio driver for the sound card of your computer, or are you using an audio interface? Which one?

Which interface? Does it have software that allows you to set routing and panning?

Hope this helps,
Damian

What kind of interface, What kind of speakers and what output(s) are you plugging into on the interface?

Hmm...

My guess would be that typing so many ***s and !!!!s is seriously impacting your PC's CPU and so it's shut down half of the stereo output as a compensatory measure.

But perhaps I'm wrong...

:laughings:I was thinking the same thing! Funny I was about to reply to a question that someone politely posted when suddenly I saw ********************* and !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well screw the polite guy, this question must be way mmmmmmmmore urgent.

Sounds like the classic Mono source into a Stereo input. Try plugging into the other channel and see if it only comes out the other speaker.
