I walk the line
I know, it's a sickness (cheapo guitars)!

Anyway, does anyone know a reputable place to get these online?

The ususal suspects don't seem to have them, and I hate ebay.

Oh, and Jay Turser, too. Sam Ash had a couple, but not what I was looking for.

Or Samicks. They make every brand under the sun, but who sells their line?

OK, what I'm looking for is

a 12 string SG copy. I don't really want to get a doubleneck (I can't believe I just said that! ) just to get a 12 string SG. Not really interested in hollowbodies. The new Fender 12 would probaly be cool, but still not exactly what I'm looking for and about twice as much as what I want to pay.

Any recommendations?

And another thing...

Who carries Dano guitars now?

Seems like everyone has their pedals, but nobody's got the guitars.

I shoulda bought that 12 string Daisy Rock when GC was blowing them out.

Yes, I'm man enough to play a Daisy Rock! It was a really nice plain ice blue metallic. I was afraid it was going to fall apart, though. Felt pretty cheap.

Hellooo?

C'mon. Somebody's gotta know this.

Someone somewhere must be buying them.

Thanks, man

but what about Danelctros?

I guess I should look at Deans.

It just seems like somebody ought to be making SG style 12 strings.

Hmm ive never seen one online. I have a greg bennett formula(tele knock off) its actually not that bad. It was like my first(sort of second) guitar, so pretty good. Decent sound and stuff. My dad got mine at some local music store, and they sell them in my town's music store.

Yeah, around here

You only see the occasional used one at a store, nobody actually carries them.

SAme with Turser, although Sam Ash is supposed to becarrying them now, they only had one model online.

But where are the #$*&^@ Danelectros?????

The problem with finding Danelectros is that the company is releasing one model at a time, and then not making that model anymore. So there are only 2 or 3 models available at any one time.

(Guess they got their fingers burnt when they flooded the market with around 30 models at the same time in the late 90's).

Anyway, this place is the best resource for all kinds of Dano's:

New ones, and some old stock of the 90's models that have been doubled in price.

Heres the #$*&^@ Danelectro website with the list price-lots of sites seem to just have their pedals...

Okay-heres a site that seems to carry lots of Danelectros

http://www.danguitars.com/

Thanks

for the danguitars site. The only site anyone's come up with, and they are either out of most models, or haven't gotten their shipment of new models yet. You see my frustration.

As far as the Agile LP 12, yeah, I've known about that for a long time. I thought it was cool in the beginning, but the more I thought about it, I realized that's not what I wanted. I still may break down and get one, just for the lack of any alternative. And yes, I would rather have a Rick 360/12, but I'd also rather have a real '59 LP.

I saw a Greg Bennett 12 string SG once, a few years ago. I wish I had bought it. :(

A Dano 12 would be cool too.

It'll probably end up being a Daisy Rock, or maybe a Dean.

What town is that, and what's the name of the music store?

BTW, if you want people to read about your studio, blue isn't the best font color for a black background.
