Online Collaborations

Does anyone know if there is any freeware software for online collaborations? Something that would allow a gang of a half dozen or so people to work on a single project is what I am looking for. Doesn't need all kinds of high end recording features, just something to allow friends to noodle on one song back and forth.

e-Magic's Logic Audio Platinum deffinitly will support what you are talking abut but yes it is filled with fancy recording features and a damned partridge in a pear tree!
 
I think pro tools has a free version that allows 8 tracks...digidesign.com?..also there's another one that's freeware, but I'll have to hunt down the link...
