Online collaboration

Hello,

Would like to share with you guys on my 1st online collaboration. Recording of music instruments, mixing & mastering of the song were done by Peter Hughes from Australia. My part was just to record my vocals and let him do the rest. Here's the link to the song:

The vocal track is a bit off timing throughout the song (I sang on tempo OK :rolleyes:). We'll try to rectify that. Be that as it may, this song is the #1 song (out of 6,294 songs) on Soundclick's cover song chart!!!! I dunno how they chart the position but we are no. 1. Period. Good enuff to make my day!!! :D
 
I dont know the original, but...about the mix/master, I feel a severe lack of low frequencies between 60/150 hz.And mids (around 1,5k, wide "Q")..

Thanks for "link"! I'll try to post more soonest possible.

On the mix, yeah I agree with you. Something is missing but I dunno what (noob in recording here). But nothing that I can do to edit it.

Huh. Turns out the hi-fi version sounds way better than the lo-fi. Who'd a thunk it?

I second CIRO's thought (though probably not as competently :D). It could use more low end. Do you have a bass guitar? That would really help fill out the sound.
