ok, whip me with a harley chain but i'm using n-track again and forgot how to..........oh well lets get to it.

how do i record on one track at a time? and only that track for a re-do? everytime i do another take the 2nd,then 3rd, track appear and i end up deleteing those all day long.

then when i'm happy with that track, how do i add a 2nd for the guitar?

i just don't wanna see new track evertime i wanna re-do the part on the original track-----thx.

You can either arm the track for recording by clicking the "R" button on that track, or you can use the punch in/out feature.

The best way, though, is to have all of your takes on their own tracks - that's how it would work in the "real world", except in the case of punching in/out....but even that is often less desirable than having seperate tracks and editing together a good take.
