One silly question....

doesnt make more bass, just concentrates it in places you dont want.
 
Then how come one of my monitors sound bass heavy(one in the corner) than the other?

It's definitely a factor. Some monitors come with switches to compensate.
So as to not misinform, a quick check in Everest's 'The New Stereo Soundbook'..here you go. Placing near one wall (Vs free space), the low end adds +6, in a corner +12, at three sides +18.

Could this be a bass trap issue because i have a panel trap right under the monitor that is bass heavy?
