My high e string has been hard to tune up for a week or so. I wasn't really sure what was wrong, but I didn't play it much mind, but today the knob has cracked, remains on the tuning head's bar, but it will not make the bar turn, thus I cannot tune the high e at all.
How can I fix this? I have a classical guitar, and I like it alot. I don't want to throw it out, but I've never changed strings on this guitar, much less tuning heads. (I have changed strings on steel string and a bass).
If I try to get another guitar from the same company, I doubt I'll get anything good. Their quality is supposedly pretty inconsistent.
