Howdy! Here's a Filipino song so I'm sorry if you couldnt understand the lyrics.

My friends just recorded last night another simple recorded song, 4 tracks. I have been recording drums via MIDI on a Drum Machine (Battery) so last night was my first time recording a real drums and the thing is I have only one mic (MXL V67) not even intended for drums. I was trying to experiment the mic position so that I can capture all the drum set equally and I think this is the best position I set.

Acoustic guitar - direct/pickup
Bass - direct with Guitar Rig
Vocals - MXL v67

Attached is a picture on the drum setup with the mic.

Not a bad sound at all, for just one mic on a drumkit...

You did good with what you've got. It's a shame there's so little kick drum, but it's not all that vital to this song I guess. Besides, the bass track helps a lot.

Nice.

You dont even have a 58 or something for the kick drum it would help the drums a real lot. The acoustic sounds pretty good for just the pickup.

I dont think your snare drum (or whoevers) was tuned good for the song. I have come to find that you need to tune your snare for each different song (sometimes not) if the snare does not naturally mix with the song.

Not too bad. I'd lower the mic on the drums a bit and maybe hit the snare lighter.
