Ok i was messing around yesterday with the gutiar track and found somthing cool.

Ok whenever you dupilcate the track it sounds like one solid track, and its kinda weak sounding, but if you recording 2 tracks it sounds really powerful and stuff well, this it what i did instead of recording two gutair tracks.

duplicate the track and move the second one over 1 millisecond.
and pan the tracks right and left how ever you want them. Try it, it sounds good.

This is not a new trick at all, in fact it has been covered here repeatedly.

Also the fact that you can easily create phase issues for yourself has been covered before. Check your tracks for problems by collapsing them to mono and see if the guitar gets louder or dissappears. If it dissappears then you have phase cancellation happening, and should move the spacing a little bit more or less.

To me it sounds much better to pan two well performed but seperate takes.
