a more bluesy laid back groove, than some of the other tunes, this one is built around a simple rhythm chord change.
using the USACG custom strat i built, all the rhythm guitar tracks were captured with a palmer pdi-09, miced cab for the solo.

--solo at the end shows off the budda wah really well, nice wah. stacked with a fulltone fatboost III, and the mesa pretty much cranked.

recorded and mixed with Sonar 6PE

gear: AT4033, ADK Hamburg, shure sm57 mics, A Designs Audio MP-1 tube mic pre, ART DPS, dbx compressor, mesa boogie mark2b amp, avatar vintage 1x12 speaker cab w/celestion G12C, Superior Avatar drums, Ibanez Mikkro short scale bass, sansamp bass DI

yikes, a 114 views, and no replies...
what's wrong folks?
is it a bad link, or a bad song?!
LOL

I liked it. The song reminds me of David Lee Roths' solo albums. I don't know how you feel about that, but I really love those albums. Nice vocals, good mix, great guitar tones and nice playing. I liked it and to be honest I don't have much criticism. That mesa sounds really nice.

alright chandler!

thanks for breaking the ice

DLR, you know, i really never listened to any of his stuff beyond VH, but i know that people like Vai and Billy sheehan played with him, so that's cool.....

yeah, i like the mesa.
many years i've had that thing, sometimes i think i wanna sell it, then i back off, and am always glad.

i use it more like a hyped up fender bandmaster or something, not for all the gain i can get out of it... i goose it with boosters and drive pedals, it seems to like that.

figure one last bump, before i take her down...... down...... down.

Man, Not really my listening preference, but just like the other tunes you've done this sounds great! Because of my envy I can't find anything to critique. Keep up the good work!

sixer.....

sweet man, that you took the time to comment anyway, i appreciate that.
