I have hundreds of family pictures on my computer. The older members of my family don't own computers, let alone know how to use one. I do not own a DVD currently but I am looking into buying one. I don't know much about them yet. I know they play CDs. I have burned the pictures onto CDs for the computer savvy members of my family. I know some others own DVDs. Could the pictures I have stored on these CDs be shown on a DVD Player? Would I need special software to create them? Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, and yes.

There are many on the market, but Roxio Easy CD Creator Platinum (about 99 bucks) makes a nice DVD slide show from individual images. It'll play on any DVD player that reads CDR's (most of them do).

You might want to check out some of the software available at doom9.org if you want to do this for cheap. Most of the utilities there are free and pretty well explained.

As long as we're talking about stuff that has nothing to do with audio, I always wanted to learn to throw a curveball. Any advice?:o

Damn, Sean!

You been stealing my catcher's signals again??? :(

"I always wanted to learn to throw a curveball. Any advice?"

1. Get a younger arm.
2. Buy a book on baseball.
3. Read it.
3a. Take up chewing tobacco.
3b. Learn to spit.
4. Get a $6 mil contract.
5. Go on strike, piss off fans, lose contract.
6. Get lame Nike shoe endorsement deal for walk-around money.
7. Get lamer shaving cream ad.
8. Fergit the freakin' curveball, yer famous and don' gotta work anyhoo...
