Hi... i have been trying to avoid joining technical forums for the fear that my life would become engulfed with board stuff... but damnit, i can resist the urge no longer... what pushed me here was that i have been surfing the web like mad in search of technical thingies pertaining to mixing and don't flinch, mastering... after about 1000 google searches this place kept coming up and I have read a number of posts here, a few of which have rather helpful... anywhoo... I feel i am fairly competent in my abilities with the gear and know how that i have but for all those other areas which i will proudly proclaim, I know nothing, I am here... to know something....

I just finished an album of material... I am pretty happy with the mixes... though theres a number of things biting at my ankles.. so, if anyone feels interested in constructive criticism... please say.... I myself am horrifically opinionated, so likewise, i have no problem either constructively critiquing..or in the worst case scenario ragging....peace

cool - post it in the mixing clinic of you want some feedback
 
Hello JJJ and welcome to the forums.

Once you get, I believe, 5 post under your belt you can post your mixes in the mp3 clinic for all ofus to listen to and give yo feed back.
The same number of post are required to post links as well.
 
When you get to 11,000 you can read peoples minds.
