is it possible to record your mix live to an external stand alone cdrw through the spdif on the 66? and also can you monitor just cd playback through the omni.... I dont want a mixer, I just want to plug the cd player into the omni and hear it through my monitors...

well, if you have the correct cable (either 1/8" or 1/4", going to two 1/4"), you can plug the cd player into line inputs 3 and 4....

personally, I would just put the cd in the computer and play it that way instead of going through the trouble of hooking up the cd player.
