So im getting an omni studio and i was wondering what is the best way to make it more than a two-tracker...

The Omni has 4 inputs. 2 XLR/1/4" on the front and 2 1/4" on the back. The front inputs have volume controls/preamps and phantom power. The rears are line level (I assume). I use the rears as a stereo input from the POD and the fronts for mics.
If you want more than four inputs we'll have to wait for someone else to post.

Quick revision: The Omni actually has six inputs as there is an input(s) for SPDIF as well.
