omni-studio (pci) Q: MIDI???

hi there,

the omni-studio pci solution is rather cheap at the moment .... but it doesnt seem to support MIDI ...

Can anybody confirm this? ... is there a way to get midi into the system (eg. to trigger softsynths, etc....)

USB does, PCI don't

maybe that's why it's cheap?

M-Audio's site says absolutely zip about MIDI in the PCI omni studio setup - the USB version has it though. Don't know much about it, but I do know if it did support MIDI i/o then it would be absolutely plastered all over the product page, you'd have no way to miss it.

which almost definitely means no, it does not support MIDI i/o
